Making a sale to gain a client.

Making a sale to gain a client.

I often see those awful insurance commercials, trying to be funny and using characters to sell insurance. I get mad, as they stretch the truth (like a good/bad politician) and mis-lead the viewing public.

Then I think of the physiology behind their method: they want a customer do they can make a sale. Where in my insurance agency, we make a sale to gain a client. Huge difference when you view it that way.

I like our version much better and think our clients do too. Adding value 1 client at a time is much more rewarding, I think.

Screaming, shouting and trying to be funny is good for a short term gain. For long term trust, allegiance and agency building, I like our method better.
